Are you a dynamic individual with a knack for building strong relationships and driving business growth? Our client is seeking a talented Key Account Manager to join their expanding team. As a leader in the sustainable packaging industry, they specialize in providing top-quality, fully disposable packaging products, and need someone with the skills to target large corporate accounts and ensure their Key Accounts receive exceptional attention and service.

Our client has been offering sustainable custom packaging solutions to Australian for over 20 years. They have a commitment to high quality products and customer service using innovative sustainable manufacturing process and using annually renewable plant fibres and raw materials.
Responsibilities:

• Pro-actively identify new business opportunities to provide increased sales.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Act as the main point of contact for Key Accounts, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and effectively.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and drive growth within Key Accounts.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights into Key Account performance and market trends.
• Manage your stock levels and forecasts with the Procurement team.
• Work closely together with the Sales Director to develop proposals for tender.
• Attend industry trade and consumer events along with networking opportunities and other relevant meetings/seminars.
• Develop multi-level relationships with current and target customers’ key staff.
• Assist in the development of the annual budget and ensure all expenses are managed.
• Provide market, industry and competitive analysis and stay informed of competitors in the marketplace.
• Maintain our strong sales culture using your strong interpersonal skills to ensure seamless communication within the team.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of products and services to clients.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a business development capacity.
• Proven experience in Key Account management or sales, preferably within Foodservice, FMCG, or coffee roasting industries.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
