Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be pivotal in nurturing and expanding Key Accounts, fostering business growth, and maintaining long-term client relationships. Your main responsibilities will include understanding client needs, identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling, and ensuring utmost client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of Key Accounts, fostering strong, collaborative partnerships.
- Conduct on-site visits to assess client needs, equipment performance, and rental feasibility.
- Develop customised equipment solutions tailored to each client’s specific challenges.
- Proactively identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities to maximise client value.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries or concerns.
- Track and analyse Key Account performance metrics, using data to drive strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client experiences.
- Stay up to date on industry trends to identify new business opportunities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or similar role in the service industry.
- Experience in visiting construction sites is preferred.
- Passion for building strong relationships and exceeding client expectations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and deal closing skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meticulously manage accounts and pipeline.
- Proficiency in CRM software systems and MS Office.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (a plus).
