The company is a global leader in the supply of capital equipment such as filter presses and industrial consumables into the Australian and Global market. The business has experienced a massive global acquisition and as a result they are primed to expand their growth into the WA market.
This sales role will see the right individual join the larger Australian team, but take complete control of the WA market and grow the territory and bring the companies Wet Filtration Consumables to the attention of all major industry sectors.
About the role
- Develop sustainable and profitable long-term sales base in Liquid Filtration in Western Australia
- Manage existing customers with a view of increase market share
- Find, Qualify and convert Liquid Filtration Opportunities in Key accounts to build a long term profitable and sustainable sales base
- In collaboration with and under the direction of the General Manager for Australia, target clients and Industry sectors with process filtration requirements to develop new and profitable supply contracts.
- Assist in creating, updating and reviewing the liquid filtration growth strategy
- Work as directed with other manufacturing, service, administrative and sales personnel in the group to capitalize on mutual opportunities to the benefit of the company
- Responsible for working with the customers to understand products and processes in order to provide best product solution

The initial focus will be within the Pilbara region
Experience
- Background in a relevant industry necessary (either filtration or process, mining, dewatering)
- Technical Background desired but not exclusive – Mechanical, Production, Process or Chemical Engineering
- Experience with developing and working to budgets
- More than 5 years of multi-level selling in an industrial environment
- Engineering background with filtration knowledge is highly advantageous
- Experience covering large state territories
- Experience with a long sales cycle
On Offer
- Base salary $130k - $150k
- Super 11%
- Car Allowance or FMCV
- High earning commission structure
- OTE $190k - $220k (realistic)
