The Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, is the largest faculty at Monash University and offers the most comprehensive suite of professional health training in Victoria. We consistently rank in the top 40 universities worldwide for clinical, pre-clinical and health sciences.
The Faculty’s External Relations team is responsible for developing and implementing major, multimillion-dollar health-related strategic initiatives across the University in partnership with external stakeholders. We are seeking a dynamic and effective Lead, Major Projects Transition to manage the implementation of multiple significant projects through to them being fully operational while supporting the attraction of further and sustainable funding for these successful Major Projects. The projects will span across a wide range of groups within and associated with the faculty including the National Centre for Healthy Ageing, Victorian Health Innovation Centre and other newly planned University Centres.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will have demonstrated leadership experience where you have supported implementing new strategic initiatives within a large and complex organisation. An excellent understanding of the university and health-related sectors, and an understanding of public policy related to health system funding and health service improvement initiatives, are highly desirable for this role.
You will have experience liaising with C-suite stakeholders regularly whilst also working with external research and industry organisations. Creativity, passion and a hands-on approach are elements evident in your approach to what you do, and you will be exceptional in your ability to form meaningful, professional connections as needed.

Proven record of successfully managing all aspects of large, complex and organisational-wide projects through to completion
Relationship management and consulting skills, including the ability to interact, influence and negotiate with a variety of stakeholders within and outside a University
Analytical, evaluation and research skills including demonstrated ability to quickly assimilate new concepts and information and deliver positive, innovative solutions
