Minerals & Metals team is currently delivering critical metals projects, including Copper, Nickel, Lithium, Vanadium, Rare Earths, and Base Metals. This portfolio of projects ranging from studies through to EPCM packages working on developments in Australia and internationally.
Responsibilities:About The RoleDue to upcoming projects in Qtr. 2 within studies and design, we are looking for experienced
Lead Process Engineers who have built their career within Hydrometallurgical engineering, within battery metal developments. This role will see you responsible for;
- Delivering successful outcomes for our clients and customers to help them achieve technical and commercial success in their studies, projects, and operations.
- Develop and provide SME guidance within the area of hydrometallurgical engineering.
- Deliver best practice process designs in accordance with project, time, budget, and technical requirements.
- Lead focal point for technical engineering inc of modelling, design and flowsheet development.
- Develop innovative solutions to complex process and technical problems for a wide range of commodities.
- Plan, execute and analyse bench-scale and pilot-plant metallurgical test work programs to support process designs.
- Ensure process designs meet required safety standards and actively participate in design reviews.

- Tertiary qualifications from a recognized institute in Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering
- Relevant experience in hydrometallurgical plant design. Experience with commodities such as lithium, nickel, cobalt, copper and rare-earths would be highly regarded
- Appropriate experience in the mining or minerals processing industry
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical, literacy and numeracy skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Well-developed computer skills and knowledge of databases, spreadsheets and engineering programs
- Experience with process simulation software such as SysCAD and/or METSIM would be highly regarded
