The Learning and Development Coordinator (L&D) will be responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and assessing the ongoing professional development of the Mallee District Aboriginal Services (MDAS) Learning and Development (L&D) Framework.
The L&D Coordinator will be responsible assisting with and leading the facilitation of a capability framework, customising the route to best suit MDAS requirements and enhance the capacity of the organisation to deliver services to clients. The L&D Coordinator will work closely with the HR Manager to implement a range of educational functions, and support the processes required to maintain staff engagement through ensuring that the MDAS Workforce Development Plan goals and objectives are being met. Key Selection Criteria:Project Management: Be able to assist and coordinate in developing and implementing systems to achieve the L&D goals and objectives and monitor own performance and compliance with the requirements of the framework. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interface and coordinate work efficiently and effectively and with external bodies and staff from all levels of the organisation. Understand cultural sensitivities and can liaise with staff and third-party training providers. Strong facilitation and negotiation skills. Administration: Strong organisational and coordination skills. Administrative skills, with effectiveness in developing tasks and managing resources to achieve targets within set timeframes as required. Problem Solving: Solve problems based on knowledge and experience, scanning for useful information, looking for underlying cause and suggesting solutions or alternative action. Respect Cultural Diversity: Take action to provide services that are inclusive of Aboriginal people and engage in learning about other cultures to better establish relationships and improve services. Qualification/s:Minimum Certificate IV Training & Assessment (TAE40116) or willing to obtain. Tertiary qualification and or experience in a relevant field. Minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience in delivering tutorials, training or workplace learning sessions.
A current Driver’s License that allows you to drive in Australia.
