Join a truly collaborative, inclusive and supportive Tennis Services team. You will be collaborating closely with stakeholders and other team members to design, develop and implement high quality learning programs and resources and enhance the capabilities of tennis professionals, coaches and the Tennis Australia team. You don't need to be a tennis expert, however, knowledge of the game would be advantageous.

About the Team

The newly created Learning Designer role sits within the Tennis Services team, led by the Head of Tennis Services and Game On Delivery. It is a truly supportive, inclusive and collaborative team. You will partner with subject matter experts who will provide the guidance and content knowledge to ensure you can design and develop high quality learning programs that support Tennis Australia's vision.

About the role

  • Design and develop learning programs using tools and systems to support tennis participation strategic priorities.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure the alignment of learning initiatives
  • Provide support to tennis staff by applying adult learning principles and instructional design principles
  • Conduct professional development workshops to support staff development.
  • Test, troubleshoot and adapt learning solutions based on feedback and functionality.

About you

  • Experience using learning management systems. Knowledge of 'Totara LMS' would be advantageous, but not essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in applying instructional design principles in creating engaging learning experiences.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and influencing skills.
