Right now, we have an exciting opportunity for an experience Learning & Development Manager, to join our small, collaborative People and Culture Team, with a key directive to develop & implement a Learning and Development strategy that enables JewishCare to be an employer of choice.
The focus of the Learning & Development Manager will include the following;
- Design & deliver learning content to support operational training requirements of the organisation that is innovative and contemporary.
- Facilitate and coordinate Learning & Development programs in collaboration with the Chief People Officer and other Senior Leaders.
- Working closely with the Clinical team, develop a learning strategy and plan that will achieve organisation wide understanding of clinical care, compliance and quality assurance standards.
- Design, develop and source training content that meets regulatory requirements in Aged Care Services, NDIS and Child and Family Services and divisions.
About you
Leading with a passion for change and continuous improvement, the successful candidate for Learning & Development Manager will bring the following:
- Qualifications in Training and Education/ L&D/ HR or other related discipline.
- Solid knowledge and application of contemporary learning practices (e.g. learning strategies, needs assessments, capability mapping, instructional design).
- Extensive experience in learning / instructional design, particularly within Learning Management Systems.
- Proven experience in development and implementation of e-Learning content, programs and solutions.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
- Ability to be proactive, adaptable, assertive and work well under pressure or within tight time frames.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish friendly and professional rapport with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
