This position is for a Part Time Contract role for the remainder of the 2024 school year, with the possibility of ongoing moving forward.
Hours for the position are flexible by negotiation (within the school day) with a minimum of 3 days over the week.
Position Requirements:
- support and commitment to the mission, values and ethos of Catholic Education
- Interest and experience in working with young people with a range of learning and behavioural needs
- An ability to form respectful relationships with students, families and colleagues
- a well developed level of literacy and numeracy
- a cooperative nature and enthusiastic approach to working with young people
- must be capable of working with children under the supervision of the Learning Support team and classroom teachers, including in practical subjects as required.
- Experience in working collaboratively as part of a team
Desirable Criteria:
A lived understanding of the Catholic Ethos
Appropriate training or qualifications
Experience in schools is preferred, training will be provided
