About the Role:
We have an exciting role available for a Legal Assistant's in our life insurance litigation team. You will be a key point of contact for the client and external stakeholders.
As a Legal Assistant you will work side-by-side in a team directly reporting to a lawyer and partner to provide quality administrative and legal support managing a caseload of client files. Your responsibilities will include managing incoming calls, liaising with clients, file management and booking appointments among other general administrative tasks.
You will need to have a passion for helping clients and be patient and empathetic to the clients circumstances, while having experience working in an office environment to help support your team.
You will work closely with your team to help your clients achieve a successful outcome for their claim. You need to be deadline driven and have both high-level written and verbal communication and client relationship skills. An excellent eye for detail is essential in making this role a success.

Experience working within a TPD, Personal Injuries/Insurance practice group is highly regarded;
Experience working within a professional services environment is also a plus.

Excellent organisational and time management skills;
Ability to work in a high paced environment with competing demands;
Ability to work in a team; and
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
