Purchasing Officer

We are losing a great friend and Team Member and offer a rare opportunity to join our Purchasing Team based at our state-of-the-art Corporate Office in Henderson WA.

Our Procurement Officers evaluate vendors, negotiate competitive pricing and ensure purchasing requirements for Operations align with Company procedures.

Responsible for processing and meeting critical purchasing requirements, daily activities will include:

• Procurement of materials
• Raising purchase orders
• Monitor compliance with relevant OHSE requirements.
• Carry out new supplier evaluations.
• Liaising with logistics companies
• Maintain company standards for Quality Assurance purposes.
• Present neat documentation, correspondence and records as requested.

Ideally you will be an experienced Purchasing Officer with a background in Heavy Industry Construction & Fabrication, you will also display.

• A good team spirit with the ability to work independently.
• High level capability in use of MS Office Suite
• Strong skills in use of procurement software (we use COINS)
