LEGAL ASSISTANT - PLANNING & ENVIRONMENT

In exchange for your experience as a Legal Assistant in Planning & Environmentlaw, you will be considered to join a highly regarded firm that has outstanding retention.  You will be part of a well known and talented team of Planning & Environment lawyers by providing them with high quality administration support.  Your days will be spent supporting a Partner and a team of engaging young legal professionals. Each member of the team is experienced, enthusiastic and dynamic and they provide a high quality level of administration support.

Your days will be varied and you will support a high performing team of great people. You can expect to  

You will attend to: 

  • Diary and email management; 
  • Inbox management;
  • CLE coordination;
  • Team administration; 
  • Monthly billing and time recording; 
  • Travel coordination; 
  • General secretarial supporting file opening and closing, file management, document amendment etc. 

To be considered for this role, you will possess:

  • experience working in a professional services environment
  • excellent personal presentation and telephone manner
  • time management skills with the ability to organise and prioritise workload
  • A proactive attitude and solutions focused
  • Excellent computer skills and attention to detail
  • Meeting room reservation system experience, EMS or similar
  • Ability to work under pressure and cope with changing priorities
  • Flexibility and adaptability (work practices and hours)
