Legal Receptionist
Full-Time Position
Family Law Firm based in Claremont

We are a growing law firm located in Claremont practising in all areas of family law.
We pride ourselves on our close and strong working and professional relationships with our clients and peers and are looking to add a valued team member to assist with the administration and day to day functions of the firm.
Required skills, experience and attributes
- Strong time management skills and highly organised with impeccable attention to detail and dedication in completing tasks
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal
- A can-do attitude with everything and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a high performing team
- Flexibility in adjusting as the scope of role changes and grows
- Highly developed Microsoft Office skills
Tasks will include
- Management of firm admin inbox for incoming correspondence (high volume)
- Downloading Court Orders from Court Portal (and saving)
- Management of calendars for the day including solicitor’s calendars and new client appointments
- Meeting and greeting clients and making client drinks
- Create time entries and initial consultation invoices (basic)
- Transposing new client intake form into practice management system, file openings and conflict checks
- Answering office phone (and mobile), taking messages and filing messages (electronically)
- Post and Register
- File closure procedure and archiving
- Kitchen Tidy, including dishwasher (twice a day)
- Keeping front of house/meeting rooms tidy including end of day duties which will include dishes, meeting rooms, securing premises
- Stationery orders and kitchen stock replenishment
- Invoice creation and emailing
Required Office Hours
8.30am - 5pm
