Legal Secretary

We have an incredible opportunity for a Legal Assistant/ Law Student to join a Top Tier, boutique Law firm in Brisbane’s CBD. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual with high attention to detail to join this fun and energetic team.

This role would suit a Law Student who wants first-hand experience, working closely with an energetic team of Junior Lawyers.  This is a unique opportunity to gain experience while studying your law degree with opportunities to move into a graduate legal position once you finish!

Responsibilities:

• First point of contact for clients and visitors
• Reception duties
• Ad hoc Administration
• Client Billings (Training will be provided)
• Client care work
• Monitoring and re-stocking office supplies and stationery
• General office, secretarial and administration tasks.

To be successful in this role you will possess the following attributes:

• Experience with Leap Software will be highly advantageous. 
• High attention to detail
• A positive attitude
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Can work effectively under pressure.
• Prioritisation and time management skills
• This role would suit a law student with a career goal of advancing into a Junior Solicitor position after graduating.
