Please note this is a very busy role, and it is essential that applicants can multi-task, work well under pressure, have great time-management and organisational skills

Who are you?
You are:
- A Legal Secretary with 3+ years’ experience (preferable), as full on-job training will be provided.
- A team player and hard worker.
- A person with good organisational and interpersonal skills.
- A positive “can do” attitude.
- Able to stay cool and calm working under pressure, with an ability to multi-task and be able to meet deadlines in a responsible and efficient way.
- An accurate touch-typist with high-levels of grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and other Microsoft Office programs.
- A highly motivated, efficient, and independent type of a person.
- Possessing excellent communication and telephone skills.
- Able to pay attention to detail, including proofreading your own work.
- Quick to learn.
- Pro-active.
- Motivated.
- Able to follow instructions and must be able to work unsupervised at times.
- Committed and understand client and staff confidentiality.
- Prepared to learn diary and time management.
- A person who takes pride in their personal presentation and has a bubbly personality.
BurnsLaw is a reputable firm that is well respected in the legal industry. The successful applicant will develop a high standard of understanding of the criminal process and be closely involved with solicitors, barristers, clients, prosecutors, police, and the Courts.
The position will be full time, and subject to a probationary period. Our offices are located at Underwood.
Office Hours:
8.30 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday.
Salary:
Commensurate with experience and ability.
