My client is renowned for its commitment to excellence in legal services, and we are seeking a skilled and organized Legal Secretary to enhance the Personal Injury team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about Personal Injury law to contribute to a thriving legal practice.
Responsibilities:
Document Preparation:

• Draft and edit legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings related to Personal Injury cases.
• Assist in preparing court filings, motions, and other legal documents.

Case Management:

• Maintain and organize case files, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to manage case calendars and deadlines.

Communication:

• Effectively communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Manage phone communications, take messages, and relay information promptly.

Research:

• Conduct legal research on case-related matters.
• Assist attorneys in gathering information and evidence for cases.

Administrative Support:

• Provide general administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing attorney calendars, and coordinating meetings.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and electronic communication.

Qualifications: * Minimum 1 year experience as a Legal Secretary, preferably in Personal Injury law.

• Proficient in legal document preparation and case management software.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of court procedures and legal terminology related to Personal Injury cases.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
