Our ClientOur client is an established mid-sized firm providing dedicated legal services to clients across Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. A professional team of skilled solicitors working across a range of practice areas including family law, property and wills and estates. The position
This is an opportunity to provide legal administration support to an experienced, collaborative team across mixed practice areas. Your primary duties may include:
- Assisting Solicitors with running of client flies, including opening new matters, maintaining accurate client records, keeping physical and electronic files organised and up to date, managing client enquiries.
- Typing dictation.
- Filing Court Documents in the online portal.
- Collating and organising documents.
- Assisting Solicitors with drafting professional and accurate Court documents.
- Diary management.
- Client billing.
This is a full-time position however part-time or school hours may be considered for the right candidate.
About you
The ideal candidate will have previous experience providing legal administration support however, our client is open to candidates with a minimum of one year experience. In addition, you will have the following skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft suite.
- Some previous experience as a legal secretary essential and experience in conveyancing will be highly regarded.
