About the Role:

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Maintain the updates of the Lifesaving Services Profile.
- Monitor the Lifesaving Development Fund email box.
- Circulate relevant Grant information as required.
- Assist with the procurement of Lifesaving Gear & Equipment when required.
- Assist when needed to compile the QFES 6- and 12-month reporting.
- Assist with the review and development of the patrol operations manual.
- Seek new lifesaving practices, equipment or technology in the marketplace and conduct research and development into any potential benefits or application by SLSQ under the direction of the General Manager – Lifesaving & Community.
- Undertake internal audits and participate in Coastal Auditing where required.
- Assist with IRB Trainer and Assessor Coordinator (Taco’s) to ensure annual endorsement, workshops and currency are conducted where required.
- Assist with training, assessing and administration with Brisbane Lifesaving Services where required.
- Complete tasks and special projects as determined by the General Manager – Lifesaving & Community.
- Monitor the Lifesaving Operations and store email account.
- Taking orders from clubs and submitting purchase orders in line with SLSQ processes and procedures.
- Liaising with approved suppliers to submit club orders.
- Support in stocktaking lifesaving gear and equipment when required.
Required Education & Experience:
Essential
- Working with Children Blue Card (or ability to obtain).
- National Police Clearance, Proof of Identity Check (points of identification and working rights).
- Current Drivers Licence.
- Current Bronze Medallion and Certificate II in Public Safety.
- Current First Aid Qualifications (or ability to obtain).
Desirable
- Cert IV or above in Business Administration, Business Management or similar.
