Litigation Lawyer

We are now looking for a bright, enthusiastic and dynamic commercial Litigation Lawyer with a minimum of two years post admission experience in commercial litigation to join our professional team. 

The successful candidate will be managing the Firm’s litigation matters. Clients the candidate would be working with are from a range of fields, such as financial services, property, information technology, building and construction, retail and insolvency.

The role will include:

• running the firm’s commercial litigation matters;
• negotiating and mediating disputes;
• advising clients on the litigation process and prospects; and
• working closely with clients.

The ideal candidate would have:  

• 2+ years PAE working primarily (preferably exclusively) in commercial litigation;
• strong analytical and problem solving skills;
• the ability to work autonomously;
• solid attention to detail;
• strong knowledge of court procedures and practice;
• excellent drafting and negotiation skills;
• experience in running commercial litigation matters from start to finish;
• excellent organisation and communication skills;
• a great sense of humour; and
• experience in insolvency (preferable but not a prerequisite).
