A Japanese manufacturer based in North Sydney s seeking candidates for the position of Logistic Specialist. This role will suit for an individual who has experience in importing, inventory control and forecasting.
Description
The key responsibilities and duties:
- Manage an accurate inventory of warehouse products
- Schedule and track inbound and outgoing shipments
- Purchase and import from overseas, mainly from the same company branches, but also other factories.
- Ensure materials are delivered to sites in a timely manner as per clients' criteria
- Assess and recommend ideal shipping methods, routing or carriers to meet necessary parameters, specifications and costs
- Negotiate rates with carriers
- Input the purchase / inventory in ERP system(SAGE)
In order to be considered for this role you will have the following key attributes, skills and strengths:
- Experience in similar role
- Japanese language skill would be advantageous but not a must
- Solid organisational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work with various stakeholder
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
