Are you detail-oriented with a knack for data management?
Join our team as a Permanent Fixed- Term basis as the Logistics Support Officer and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics department. Based in Port Melbourne, you will have the opportunity to manage new carter accounts and vendor setups, as well as handling truck and driver information.
Your day will involve:
- Create new carter accounts and request vendor set up
- Enter truck information and assign a fleet code
- Enter driver information and assign driver number
- Maintain updates to truck records including registration, licenses, trucks weights and measurements
- Maintain fuel card database
- Respond to carter queries.
- Partner and troubleshoot with the key stakeholders on data inaccuracy and issues
What are we looking for?
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in data entry and database management.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience in logistics or a similar field is a plus.
- Strong comms and data reporting/analysis
