Roster: 8D6R FIFO ex Perth or DIDO ex Port Hedland
The Mechanical Maintenance Coordinator reports directly to the Superintendent Maintenance. You will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, maintaining, and improving mechanical equipment to safely deliver world class availability and reliability. This encompasses managing plant maintenance functions in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner, enabling Iron Bridge to meet the present and future needs of operational requirements. You will be responsible for the efficient delivery and management of all plant maintenance activities alongside a continuous improvement and reliability philosophy.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate, implement & improve medium to long term maintenance for responsible equipment
- Ensure maintenance strategies & scheduled maintenance are applied for responsible equipment
- Develop effective wear management systems with focus on failure rate understanding and prevention
- Liaise with equipment OEM’s and parts suppliers to improve reliability and availability
- Constantly review & monitor maintenance strategies with continuous improvement focus
- Provide ongoing technical support for maintenance crews including during breakdowns
- Act as a support function for the mechanical supervisors
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant Trade or Engineering Qualification with proven Fixed Plant maintenance experience
- Demonstrated leadership experience with a passion for coaching teams to success
- Proven track record of safety commitment and adherence
- Strong understanding of both production and maintenance strategies for large-scale processing plants
- Strong understanding of permit to work and isolation procedures
