We are currently seeking applications for experiencedMaintenance Coordinator/Planner, or Drill Fitters looking to step up. This position will be a full time flexible roster at Projects located in the Central QLD region.
Due to our expanding operations, we are seeking to employ a self-motivated person with outstanding skills and abilities to manage the fleet maintenance requirements for our business.
This position will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Conducting maintenance planning, implementing and effectively assist in the day-to-day maintenance of all Coldwell Drilling equipment
- Ensuring that planned maintenance is carried out correctly in a safe and timely manner
- Implementing maintenance practices, standards, policies, procedures, and strategies to maximise the safe working availability of all plant and equipment to maximise operational productivity and performance
- Ensuring Machinery/Equipment is kept up to site specific standards with all industry codes of practice policies and procedures compliance and company standards compliance and compliance requirements
- Involvement in equipment assessment and purchase requirements and decisions
- Managing our team of maintenance personnel
- Implement monitor and drive modern maintenance systems and processes
- Review site defects and ensure that defects have a clear management flow
- Regular travel, as required, to our business operations to work with our teams to manage all site planned and unplanned maintenance
- Maintaining all maintenance parts and service parts stock levels
- Be computer and maintenance systems literate
- Maintaining required maintenance records on site
- Ensuring employees are trained and competent to carry out their duties
- Being involved in continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop and grow our external workshop services capability
- Adhering to all Safety Procedures and Company Policies
Experience with Blast Hole Drills, heavy mobile support equipment, and latest technology equipment would be an advantage.

Experience required:
- Multiple years of maintenance experience in the mining industry
- Good Problem solving skills
- Good Computer Literacy
- Excellent Diagnostic skills
- Leadership qualities and strong communication skills
- Relevant Trade Certificates
- G1, G8, G9 (formerly S123 and G2 desirable)
- Strong commitment to safety
- Prior industry experience
- Standard 11 Statement of Attainment
- Ability to pass a Health Assessment Report (formerly Coal Board Medical)
- HR license is advantageous
- Previous experience with Blast Hole Drilling
- Australian Drivers Licence
