Description
Join a dynamic maintenance team and contribute to the success of our client's manufacturing operation under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor. As a member of the multidisciplinary team, you'll undertake various tasks aimed at supporting and enhancing processes. Key responsibilities include:
- Responding to equipment breakdowns, troubleshooting issues, and conducting repairs and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Ensuring mechanical plant machinery and equipment are maintained and repaired to operational standards.
- Identifying faulty or worn mechanical components and assisting in root cause analysis.
- Demonstrating autonomy and efficiency in your work, even without direct supervision.
- Complete maintenance documentation accurately, neatly and efficiently
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the preventative maintenance program.
To be considered for this role you will have
- Certificate III in Engineering (or equivalent) - Mechanical Trade.
- Proven track record in implementing preventative maintenance programs.
- Experience in fault finding on hydraulic, pneumatic, and complex mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with MEX CMMS software is advantageous.
- Commitment to Workplace Health & Safety.
- Strong communication skills.
- Welding qualification/experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Desirable qualifications include an EWP ticket and Forklift license.
