Form of workA fantastic opportunity has become available for a proactive and enthusiastic Management Accountant to work as part of our Finance team. Looking for an immediate start to support our busy team located in the Process Solutions base in Balcatta.
This position will report to the Group Financial Controller and will be responsible for:
- Preparation of the month-end management accounts and manage the relationship with business partners.
- Prepare weekly payroll for ~300 local and offshore employees.
- Perform compliance duties such as taxation lodgments and regulatory returns.
- Oversee transactional processing.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Assist with the preparation of the statutory financial statements and audit.
- Provide systems support to users of the finance system.
Ideally you will have the following:
- A passion for excelling in Finance.
- Possess a professional qualification (ie CA/CPA) or working towards
- Self-motivated and driven to meet deadlines and resolve issues independently.
- Possess strong accounting skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Possess strong organizational and priority management skills.
- System savvy and capable user of Microsoft products.
- Ability to work closely with a small team and use initiative.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive “can do” attitude.
