Job Purpose:Managing and delivering work as part of the ANZ Finance Team by applying ERM policy and procedures ensuring accurate completion of all tasks within deadlines and with minimal queries.Provide commercial support to internal stakeholders through accurate preparation of internal reporting, business analysis and performance insights.Establish strong working relationships with internal stakeholders through successful delivery of work.Core Expectations & ResponsibilitiesPersonal LeadershipUse general technical or subject matter knowledge to contribute to deliverablesBuild professional knowledge by keeping up to date with specialist area trends and best practicesFollow prevailing authorization processes, policies and practices for all aspects role (e.g. Health and Safety, expenses, expenditure, travel, etc.)Maintain organized and effective personal filing, scheduling and planning systemsBuild working knowledge of ERM vision and strategyWork effectively within the teamDeliver tasks on time and within budget (where budgets apply) to a high level of qualityPeople Leadership and DevelopmentCommunicate clearly with peers, colleagues, internal clients, sub-contractors, agency staff etc as applicable, to understand work requirementsBuild successful and effective working relationships with immediate colleagues and within the functional area / business unit to ensure successful delivery of work and strengthen knowledge / resource baseParticipate in own career development, including contributing to appraisals, development plans, and personal contribution statementsFollow safe working practicesClient Relationships and Business OpportunitiesBuild awareness and understanding of functional; area, processes and initiativesEscalate work related problems or queries as appropriate to ensure timely and swift resolutionsRespond to team or internal client queries in an accurate, effective and timely mannerBusiness Results and Performance Culture ResponsibilitiesUse general technical or subject matter knowledge to contribute to the functional teamPrepare initial draft work outputs in relation to area of expertise and or specific assignmentFollow up on commitments made in a timely, accurate and complete basisUndertake any other duties that may be required from time to timeBusiness ReportingAccurate weekly business performance reporting within required deadline, including preparation of the “Weekly report” Excel books and PowerBI dashboard and accompanying analysis of high-level observationsCoordinate weekly forecasting process, including maintenance of the data capture files (the “Prediction” file) and any required updates to team hierarchies and reporting structures, individual targets and appropriate bill ratesBusiness performance analysis and insightsAssist the Finance Director with optimising revenues and costs by undertaking reviews of unit pricing rates and recovery compliance, review of overhead expenses and identification of cost reduction opportunities, provide data and analysis to support procurement activitiesAssist the Commercial Director in coordinating the weekly sales forecasting process, including maintain the data capture files and updating MTD sales processed and latest pipeline dataMonthly Partner metrics reporting, including maintenance of targets as requiredCoordinate the preparation of Monthly regional flash reporting, including compiling the required data and graphs and contributing to commentary on monthly performanceAssist the Finance Director in the annual budget analysisMonthly GHG reportingAdhoc reporting as required by the businessFinancial statementsPreparation of annual financial statements for three entitiesSubmission of financial statements to auditors within required deadlineQuick turnaround of queries from auditors to avoid penalties from late lodgementsOtherAssist with year end auditAdhoc duties as requiredWho We Are:As the world’s leading sustainability consulting firm, ERM is uniquely positioned to contribute to the environment and society through the expertise and energy of our employees worldwide.
