New Management Accounting opportunity working with the health industry suited to accounting candidates who are immediately available or have a short notice period.
The preferred candidate will have previous management accounting experience and an analytic mindset. You will ideally have strong excel skills and the ability to work with a large budget with a lot of cost centre, reviewing data, budgets vs actuals, reviewing spend, etc.
This is a 6 month contract role with the possibility to extend or be made permanent. The role is based in Waratah with parking available on site. Salary on offer is $50 - $55/ hours + super.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analysis of budgets vs. actuals.
- Review and analysis of spend reports.
- Preparation of monthly management reporting packs tracking financial performance.
- Providing commentary on management reports.
- Analysis of data in excel, review pivot tables, working with a range of excel formulas.
- Work with a range of stakeholders throughout the business.
Desired skills and experience:
- Previous experience within Management Accounting.
- Strong / Advanced excel skills would be highly regarded.
- Experience working with the health / public health industry would be a benefit.
- Ability to work out budgets and review reports.
