- You will have substantial experience in providing high level financial services to the business whilst working in a complex environment.

- Management of long term budget planning, financial modelling and scenario planning in conjunction with the Manager Finance and Chief Financial Officer.
- The preparation of financial information for the Budget Papers, Strategic Development Plan and Statement of Corporate Intent.
- Assisting with the preparation of annual financial statements and reports to the Board, Treasury, Corporate Executive and other key stakeholders.
- Undertaking financial forecasting, trend analysis and other financial analyses in support of MCB’s activities.
- Continually assessing management performance and alerts the Manager Finance of impending risk and suggests pre-emptive management strategies.
- Providing management accounting advice to management including the preparation of business case and financial submissions and associated accounting procedures and requirements.
- Assisting in audit processes, particularly for the end of financial year.
- Contributing towards the maintenance of the General Ledger and Chart of Accounts.
- Reviewing and undertaking end of period budget and actual adjustments and ensuring completeness and accuracy of all financial period end data.
- Contributing to the ongoing maintenance of the Financial Management Manual.
