About the Role: Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity? Our client, a dynamic organization located in Heatherbrae, is seeking a skilled Management Accountant to join their team. Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in internal reporting and analysis, providing valuable financial insights to key business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management reports tracking financial performance against budget
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly OneStream reporting in collaboration with the Finance Team
- Engage with key business stakeholders to build accurate forecasting models
- Submit annual budget to head office after consultation with management
- Analyze trends and financial performance across business units
- Support audit requests and take part in systems and process improvement initiatives
- Ensure budgets/forecasts are prepared for easy comparison to actual results at various levels (e.g., Division, Cost Centre, Location, Function)
About You: To be considered for this opportunity, you should possess the following attributes:
Essential:
- Professional accounting qualification, CA preferred
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Strong Excel skills for data analysis
- Ability to establish strong relationships within the business
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective business partnering
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
Desirable:
- Experience with OneStream Reporting and Consolidation System
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Navision)
