- Full-time, fixed term contract until 31 December 2024
- Commencement Salary: $108,351 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)
About the Role
Reporting to the Manager: Corporate Accounting and Budgeting, you will provide corporate management and statutory reporting as a business partner to corporate areas of the University. You will build effective working relationships with key stakeholders of the University including senior staff in the Portfolios. You will identify and implement strategic initiatives and provide relevant financial information and facilitate the corporate planning initiatives of the University.

Essential Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in a finance-related discipline and active membership of a relevant professional accounting body
- Substantial experience working in an accounting position involving the development of forecasts, budgets and financial plans within a complex organization
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in applying financial and accrual accounting standards, structures, principles and practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to enable the effective synthesis of relevant information, the provision of high quality written reports and the ability to negotiate and influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated flexibility, initiative and ability to operate strategically within a busy and complex environment
