Maritime manages 35 maritime facilities from Broome to Esperance including Hillarys Boat Harbour and the Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour. This exciting role is pivotal in ensuring all these facilities are operational and accessible, through overseeing all maintence and delivering a largescale dredging program across the state all with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.Reporting to the Director Coastal Facilities Management you lead an experienced and dedicated team in maintenance management of coastal infrastructure assets (e.g. jetties, wharves, boat pens and ramps, break waters, electrical services, and dredged channels).You will foster innovation, change and continuous improvement, champion people management and build relationships with stakeholders including contractors and consultants. - Lead a team of staff, consultants, and contractors to manage and maintain a coastal infrastructure asset base in excess $400M across Western Australia.
- Manage infrastructure asset and compliance programs to deliver public safety and safeguard operational assets.
- Provide technical advice and support in relation to Asset Management, including whole of life strategies, and maintenance.
- Communicate and influence at a senior level and work closely with facility managers to ensure assets are fit for purpose.
