Appointment Pool
We are seeking to establish a pool of dedicated Manager Corporate Services (MCS) for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2024 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2024 school year.
Suitable applicants will work closely with the Principal and be responsible for supporting the Human Resources (HR) management of non-teaching staff and for business operations including financial and accountability processes. As a MCS you will support the maintenance of the site and oversee operational continuity and good order. Suitable applicants will be able to offer strategic acumen and will have the capacity to collaborate with the principal and leadership team in driving the strategic direction of the school as outlined in the strategic plan through effective scenario development, day-to-day resourcing and budget monitoring and risk and contingency planning.
Maddington Primary School (PS) have a focus on care and support, we are looking for suitable applicants who are compassionate and personable, as well as strategic and efficient. As an MCS you will ideally have proven, positive and proactive customer service experience in working with a diverse clientele, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families, families with trauma backgrounds, families supporting children with disabilities and itinerant families. Ideally, applicants will be able to liaise effectively with volunteers and outside agencies and provide a conduit between the school and community whilst supporting home-school communication processes to ensure messaging is clear and supportive.

To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate the following work related requirements (selection criteria):
- leadership skills in the delivery of business outcomes and sound customer service principles and practices
- well developed oral, written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to use effective negotiation skills.
- sound financial management skills, including budget preparation and the ability to interpret and apply financial and accounting practices and procedures.
- sound human resource management skills, including the ability to develop and/or apply human resource management practices and systems.
- ability to provide input into the development, implementation and monitoring of business and marketing plans.
- sound conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills
