Who are we?
The Western Australian Electoral Commission (“the Commission”) is the State department that leads electoral matters in Western Australia.
The Commission’s primary roles are to conduct elections, maintain the electoral roll and raise public awareness of electoral matters, with the outcome that Western Australian electors are able to participate in independent and impartial elections or referenda as part of the democratic process. This position is an important part of this State election activity.
We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to be a key member of our team.
What’s the job?
The Manager Funding, Advice, Disclosure and Registration will be responsible for strategic leadership in the management of political party registration, political finance reporting and disclosure of funding of election campaigns related to State election events. This will include engaging and advising external stakeholders about political finance and Registration matters.
Responsibilities include:
  • managing a small team responsible for registration of political parties, disclosure of political contributions, electoral funding and electoral liaison
  • leading business improvement initiatives for the creation of resources, internal and external, to support team responsibilities
  • building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
