The role
Reporting to the General Manager Customer & Corporate Support, your role is to:
- Develop short and long-term strategic plans and monitor strategy implementation.
- Lead and develop a fantastic team to ensure success in meeting Council’s goals and strategic objectives
- Provide high level project management of IT capital projects and the design, planning and implementation of Information Services projects.
- Continually review the utilisation of systems and technology to ensure the organisation is gaining the best possible use of technology and systems.
About you
We are looking for someone with:
- Tertiary qualifications in a business or technology related discipline and/or extensive and diverse experience in managing technology, large teams, system operations and significant related projects.
- The ability to develop effective working relationships and engage with Councillors, community and a range of Council staff will be critical, including technical specialists, executives, managers, and supervisors.
- Experience in leading and developing a team to deliver on both business as usual and innovative new projects.
