The Manager, Program Management Office will manage the program office processes and provide program and project management discipline advice to the Program Director and a team of project managers for the implementation of the IWFM electronic rostering solution. You will be part of the leadership team of an ICT enabled business change program, focussed on enhancing workforce management capability across the Department of Health and the Hospital and Health Services.
About the Integrated Workforce Management Program:
The Integrated Workforce Management (IWFM) Program is a key strategic initiative for Queensland Health that will enhance the roster-to-pay process, deliver positive outcomes to support enhanced workforce management and drive the delivery of tangible benefits for both Hospital and Health Services (HHS) and the Department of Health, through improved tools, processes, and access to workforce decision-support information where and when it is needed.
What we are looking for:
- Demonstrated success in providing leadership, management and motivation to a team of project delivery professionals with a strong focus on meeting outcomes, quality client service, and customer driven culture in an environment of change, and in compliance with human resource policies.
- Proven experience in building large and complex plans and schedules to support ERP implementations and support transition
- Advanced communication skills with demonstrated ability to provide advice, consult and negotiate with senior management and a diverse range of stakeholders on complex and strategic issues, build effective client and stakeholder relationships in an environment of change.
- Demonstrated high level program/project management skills and the ability to design and implement plans and performance reporting leading to the delivery of successful programs/projects and effective management of risk.
- Demonstrated experience managing a project/Program Management Office (PMO) including the creation and improvement of key project/program artefacts
- Experience managing projects or working within a project and/or program environment including an excellent understanding and application of the PRINCE2 methodology and products.
