The Manager, Security is responsible for supporting Geoscience Australia to meet its security requirements by managing personnel and physical security governance arrangements in accordance with the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and our Security Plan.
The Manager, Security will play a crucial role in ensuring the protection and resilience of Geoscience Australia's assets, personnel, and information. Your expertise and dedication to security governance will contribute to maintaining a safe and secure environment within the organisation.
The role will also have the opportunity to develop and implement an insider threat program as part of its responsibilities. This program aims to identify and mitigate potential risks posed by employees or trusted insiders who may intentionally or unintentionally cause harm to Geoscience Australia's security or interests.
