Exciting new opportunity for a Transport Operations Project Implementation Manager to join our Global Fleet Management Team, where you will lead the implementation of Toll’s first batch of Electric Vehicles (BEV) and charging stations across 11 Sites (Toll and Customer) within 3 States of Australia.
Travel will be required for this role, with a phased rollout of electric charging stations, including infrastructure upgrades at required sites, followed by the delivery of electric vehicles. Training the business team members in the safe operation of the electric charging stations and vehicles at a site level, will prove key to the successful implementation.
Key responsibilities include:

• Lead, plan, and control nominated projects/program from pre-sales stage to handover to the operational staff, to achieve design, service, operational and profit objectives while ensuring client satisfaction.
• Provide visibility and progress of the rollout, escalation support, ensuring consistent utilisation of leading practice project management frameworks, coaching, training, and guiding team members in their safe operation of the facets of the rollout.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with project delivery partners, vendors and stakeholders internally and externally.
• Manage risks, issues and dependencies across multiple projects and program streams.
• Abide by all Workplace Health and Safety requirements while planning and delivering projects and ensure due consideration applied to these factors during go live planning and implementation.

To ensure your success you will possess:

• 5 + years’ experience in Logistics/Supply Chain
• Operational experience in Transport Logistics
• Previous experience with implementing, complex projects ideally across industries.
• Excellent co-ordination, planning, and project management skills
• Excellent understanding of project management methodologies and concepts
• A detailed understanding of vehicle types, materials handling equipment and materials handling systems (automation) including their uses and applications.
• Ability to implement and manage business plans.
• Strong communicator who is confident with stakeholder management and engagement across all levels within an organisation
• Proactive and can-do attitude.
• Sound MS Office knowledge – PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and MS Project
