About the role:
Due to sustained growth and continued success, Propel Marine is seeking an experienced Class IMarine Engineer to join our talented team and play a vital role in our expansion.
This opportunity would suit a strong communicator and team player that is dedicated to continuous improvement and interested in growing their skills and furthering their careers on shore. You will be actively involved in field activities and contributing to and collaborating with a team of experienced professionals to reach your full potential.
Travel nationally and internationally is a requirement from time to time.
About you:
- Class IMarine Engineer
- Minimum 1 years sailing experience in the rank of Chief Engineer
- Experience in Marine Surveying advantageous.
- Conversant with local rules, regulations and terminal operations.
- Valid MSIC.
- Australian Resident / Rights to work in Australia
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Be able to pass Medical/ Drug and Alcohol testing.
Job Activities include but are not limited to:
- Manage Technical operations and projects
- Provision of Technical consultancy and services
- Attendance during vessel repairs
- Perform surveys, inspections and repairs
- Prepare reports and documentation
- Contribute to the development of Technical Services
