We are looking for a full time, experienced Marine Workforce Coordinator to join our Marine Team based in Cairns.
Working closely with key stakeholders (both internal and external), the successful applicant will be responsible for assisting with vessel activities, coordinating all personnel logistics, planning and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with/resolve day to day marine crewing & rostering, scheduling and logistics;
- Maintain administration and compliance;
- Manage documentation systems including certification, training and medicals;
- Assist with budgeting, regular forecasts and reporting;
- Orders and pickups, distributing to vessels;
- Bolster OHSE, training functions.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Ideally experience in Marine logistics (basic vessel operations, AMSA and marine requirements);
- An approachable, can do attitude with a willingness and initiative to provide assistance;
- Must have an extremely high attention to detail and strong work ethic;
- Ability to manage deadlines and strong organisational skills;
- Excellent communication (verbal and written);
- Good proficiency and experience with information systems and Microsoft Office;
- Process driven and task oriented;
- Current driver’s licence.
