The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organised, engaged, and motivated candidate to take on the newly created role of Maritime Exhibits and Training Officer.
This multi-faceted role will primarily oversee the coordination, development and implementation of compliance officer training, evidence and exhibit management and the policies and procedures relating mostly to newly introduced marine alcohol and drug legislation and on water testing regime.
As the Maritime Exhibits and Training Officer you will form part of the Compliance and Investigations Team and you will model the way in performance standards and accountability. You will have responsibilities and skill sets which provide high quality Authorised Officer training and systems and processes that deliver best practise evidence management.

We have 1 x permanent fulltime position available for immediate filling.
About you
Experience in the development and implementation of training packages.
Experience in the application of legislation in relation to compliance monitoring, investigatory procedures, prosecutions, and court proceedings.
Cultivate strong, productive working relationships and partnerships.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

A detailed CV that clearly outlines the skills and experience you have gained in relation to the job description; and
A written statement (maximum two (2) pages) addressing only the following selection criteria (SC):
(SC1) Highly developed knowledge and experience in the application of legislation and in relation to compliance monitoring, investigatory procedures, prosecutions, and court proceedings.
(SC2) Highly developed knowledge and experience in evidence and exhibit management including chain of custody and evidence continuity.
(SC3) Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or substantial progression towards this qualification including a high degree of experience in training program development and delivery (Please provide a copy of this qualification in this application).
The CV must contain the complete names and contact information of two (2) referees who can provide feedback on the applicant's capacity to meet all the Essential Work-Related Requirements. At least one of the referees should be the applicant's immediate (most recent) supervisor/manager unless there are exceptional circumstances.
