The Marketing and Events Assistant with Carers WA is a permanent full-time position. The position attracts a salary package of $60,000 to $65,000 p.a., plus super and salary packaging, 5 weeks annual leave (plus 17.5% leave loading) and two wellness days per annum (pro-rata for part-time). Package dependent upon qualifications and experience.
Part-time hours may be considered for the right applicant.

Carers WA is the peak body representing the needs and interests of carers in Western Australia and is part of a national network of Carers Associations providing a range of support services, supporting Carers across Western Australia. About the role:
The Marketing and Events Assistant supports the broader marketing team to deliver marketing initiatives, campaigns and communications, designed to strengthen the Carers WA brand and increase engagement and outcomes for the organisation. The position also assists in the coordination, implementation and delivery of a range of internal and external events.
Essential Selection Criteria:
- Completed (or working towards) a qualification in marketing, public relations, communications or related field.
- Basic understanding of marketing concepts, campaign implementation and evaluation.
- Demonstrated ability for storytelling and content creation for a range of platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and organisation skills.
- Proficient general computer literacy including the use of Microsoft Office (particularly Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel)
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills with the ability to work and interact with a wide range of people.
- Ability to work in a team environment with a flexible approach, as well as being able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Current C class drivers’ licence.
- National Police Clearance issued within the last three months (to be provided upon employment).
