The Role: As the Marketing & Events Coordinator, you will support the delivery of marketing strategies to drive BankVic’s membership growth through our partner and retail branch channels. You will work closely with our Product & Marketing and Sales & Distribution teams to elevate Marketing and partnership strategies and activation plans across paid, owned, and earned marketing channels. Developing a deep understanding of our partners and their businesses, you will identify and develop opportunities for partner campaigns and Events that align with BankVic’s strategic plan. You will develop content, messaging, tools, and resources to support partners’ contract deliverables which include promotional material, merchandise, and leveraging activities or events. Key responsibilities:
Act as a marketing lead for our branch network, manage onsite merchandise, and marketing activity.
Assist with the design and execution of marketing campaigns, both BankVic-led or partner-led across paid, owned, and earned marketing channels.
Effectively monitoring the retail and partnerships marketing budget.
Manage RSVPS and attendance, liaise with internal and external stakeholders, arrange suppliers and venues, merchandise, and act as the key point of contact for events in BankVic’s calendar.
Manage tracking and reporting on marketing, event, and partner activity results, to drive improved ROI and ensure plans are continuously optimised.
Management of external agency and key partner relationships.
Day-to-day management of multiple department mailboxes and digital marketing advertising screens.
Assist with posting and management of BankVic organic social media platforms.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Degree qualified in business or marketing.
Strong understanding and knowledge of the retail banking market in Australia.
Strong experience working in a similar marketing role.
Experience coordinating and managing events.
Strong background in marketing, campaign, creative production process across offline and online mediums.
Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and people skills with ability to influence.
Sound project management skills and proven ability to manage multiple marketing campaigns, events, and projects.
