Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Marketing Assistant who thrives on getting things done and is not afraid to roll up their sleeves to achieve results. As a hands-on go-getter, you will play a pivotal role in our team, taking charge of various responsibilities, including implementing a CRM system, managing the organisation’s social media presence, and creating and updating content on the corporate website. This position demands a self- motivated individual with a passion for marketing and a strong drive to take ownership of executing the marketing plan.
Key Responsibilities:
CRM System Implementation: Lead the planning, implementation, and integration of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to identify the most suitable CRM platform, customise it to the organisation’s needs, and ensure seamless integration with existing processes.
Social Media Management: Take full ownership of the organisation’s social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn), creating a consistent and engaging presence. Develop and execute social media strategies, create captivating content, schedule posts, monitor performance metrics, and engage with the audience to build and nurture relationships.
Website Content Creation and Renewal: Manage the corporate website by generating high-quality, compelling content that aligns with the brand's voice and marketing objectives. Regularly update and refresh website content, including blog posts, landing pages, product pages, and other relevant sections.
Marketing Plan Execution: Work closely with the management team to execute marketing initiatives according to the established marketing plan. Coordinate and monitor marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and events to ensure successful implementation and achievement of objectives.
Content Marketing: Develop creative and informative content for various marketing channels, such as emails, newsletters, brochures, and sales collateral. Maintain consistency in messaging and branding across all content.
Market Research: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for improvement. Present findings to the management team and use insights to enhance marketing strategies.
Analytics and Reporting: Utilise analytical tools and metrics to measure the
effectiveness of marketing efforts and campaigns. Prepare regular reports and
presentations on key performance indicators (KPIs) to present to the team and
management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, or a related field.
Proven experience in a marketing role, with a focus on CRM implementation, social media management, and content creation.
Strong understanding of CRM systems and experience in implementing and managing them effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
Proficient in social media platforms and knowledgeable about current trends and best practices.
Familiarity with website content management systems (CMS) and basic HTML/CSS is a plus.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and use it to make data-driven decisions.
Highly motivated, self-driven, and able to work independently while also being an effective team player.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
