About this role:
The Associate Manger, Marketing is responsible for aiding the development and implementation of marketing strategies for key product categories within the Sunbeam and Crock-Pot brands within the Home Solutions segment. As the connection point between the global market segment for Home and the ANZ region, Marketing will interpret and implement localised brand strategies and positioning and lead the development and adoption of innovation.

- University and/or degree qualified preferred
- Skilled in product portfolio management, with an understanding of new product development processes
- Minimum 1-3 years of equivalent consumer marketing experience
- Excellent time management, communication, and organisational skills

Key Areas of Responsibility:
Strategy Development and Planning
- Manage and oversee the brand portfolio and equity
- Help establish and maintain brand positioning and messaging
- Assist in creating and execute category strategies for strategic and core product categories
- Help develop and maintain a 3-year innovation roadmap for key product categories
Innovation Management
- Act as the consumer advocate in all product development decisions
- Participate in global IGM process (new project development)
- Collaborate with Global Brand, Sourcing and Customer Strategy & Planning teams to develop regional SKUs - NPD, core range and promotional executions
Product Lifecycle Management
- Assist in managing the product innovation, development, and funnel process
- Assist in developing and implementing portfolio strategies
- Establish pricing guidance for core and new product ranges
- Maintain, update, and troubleshoot issues with core product range
- Direct SKU rationalization efforts to optimize ranges
Develop Integrated Marketing Plans
- Assist in developing Annual Marketing Plan to support key categories
- Define and brief brand / category objectives to Mar Comms and Ecomm teams for campaign development to support innovation launches and core renovation
Product Category Expertise
- Act as a subject matter expert in the product category
- Conduit between the business segment and the Customer Strategy & Planning team as well as global counterparts within the Newell business
- Carelines liaison
Project Management and Execution
- Manage the development and delivery of customer-specific event and product displays and POSM in collaboration with MarComms team
- Manage the development and delivery of customer-specific promotions including GWPs, seasonal events and activations
