SalaryMARS Recruitment are partnering with a Technology Consultancy who are looking for a Bid & Marketing Lead to join their team.
Reporting into the Executive Director, you will be responsible for supporting the development of the marketing activities, including tenders and bids, and developing and supporting the disseminating of marketing materials. The role is bid management focused but also has marketing elements. This includes crafting win themes and executive summaries, facilitating workshops, and managing a robust qualification process.
Responsibilities:
- Lead bid responses ensuring high quality, professional tender responses that are delivered on time, are customer focused
- An experienced bid professional with bid writing and bid strategy experience, or the capability to move into bid writing and strategy.
- An exceptional writer with a strong understanding of plain English principles, and the ability to create compelling narratives on technical subjects.
- Experienced in client-focused programs, either with strategic account management or communications.
- Detail-oriented. As well as excellent written skills, you also have a keen eye for detail and can make sure our brand style and tone are adhered to.
- Identify new information and trends in responding to bids and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the development, delivery and monitoring of external customer communication related to Bids and broader sales development initiatives and presentations.
- Monitoring of bid content and processes to ensure consistently high standard tender responses are presented to the marketplace.
Criteria:
- Industry experience in consulting professional services environment.
- Ability to liaise, influence, challenge effectively and build relationships at all levels
- Excellent written skills and extensive experience in the development of tender responses.
