Qualifications & experience
- 3-years’ experience with Digital channels and platforms and demonstrated experience in a business role that needs both technical and communications skills to drive understanding, solutions, and execution.
- Ability to network and engage relevant parties beyond the Product and Marketing team – a self-starter with a strong work ethic and proven initiative.
- Sound ability to represent the organisation within the broader community.
- Sound ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships across both internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Tasks & responsibilities
- The Marketing Coordinator will be central to the team and be responsible for the day-to-day activities to drive business growth and retention. The marketing co-ordinator will have accountability for content across owned channels as well as the implementation, and reporting of the team activities.
- Develop and socialise the marketing campaign calendar in line with the Credit Union’s direction and objectives.
- Implement the marketing campaign calendar and develop a guidebook for the business to use as a standard for interaction and code of conduct.
- Provide reporting and insights on the performance of all marketing activities and assess against goals (ROI).
- Develop external and internal communication to support the campaigns. Be the main point of contact for the business around branded merchandise and collateral.
- Co-ordinate the implementation of standard requirements – ie. Financial Reporting, ALCO, rate and pricing changes.
- Manage the intranet marketing content and ensure adherence to all company policies and processes. Ensure you create and manage purchase orders, invoicing and reconciliation of marketing projects.
- Creation and coordination of content across various communication channels for internal and external stakeholders providing weekly competitive review – news, visual and price movements with media monitoring for ICU for timely monthly report.
- Assist the Head of Marketing with the social media strategy in line with the Credit Union’s strategic plan and proactively participate in regular team meetings, monthly 1-on-1’s and career discussions ensuring all reviews are completed on time.
- Monitor and report on performance of member communications while ensuring compliance with Credit Union policies, governance processes and standards as well as all regulatory and legal requirements. Fulfil all requirements under the Compliance Training and Policy Schedule.
