About the Role
Ahrens are seeking a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to play a key role in the success of the growing business. Working alongside a friendly Marketing team, and closely with the Senior Marketing and Communications Coordinator, you will be driving marketing strategies, content creation, and stakeholder engagement with a strong focus on brand consistency, copywriting, and internal communication.
Key Responsibilities
Copywriting, proof-reading and editing of marketing materials including brochures and capability statements, digital content, advertisements etc.;
Play a key role in developing and maintaining the tone of voice for a portfolio of brands;
Develop and execute content and delivery of company newsletter and other publications;
Creatively generate campaign content and assets for use across all digital channels including online advertising, blog posts, landing pages, social media and eDMs;
Develop effective eDM campaign strategies and actions;
Coordinate all brands to ensure consistency;
Develop, Coordinate and distribute internal communications to key stakeholders:
Administer internal communications as requested;
General administration support and tasks peripheral to your role as required;
Assist in the delivery and development of tenders to ensure key messages are conveyed;
Manage and maintain current and accurate information across Ahrens websites;
Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand their marketing requirements and provide recommendations;
Oversee and coordinate the distribution of marketing collateral and seek feedback on performance.
Skills and Experience
3+ years of experience in similar role with strong copywriting experience;
Highly developed communication skills (both written and oral);
Proven ability to write and edit a range of materials;
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines;
High level of time management and organisational skills;
Ability to work well within a team;
Ability to balance competing priorities and maintain high standards while meeting tight deadlines.
Excellent written communication skills, including proven experience in drafting, editing and proofing marketing communications materials;
Ability to multitask and think strategically;
Ability to use initiative and be proactive;
High attention to detail;
High level of competency in Microsoft Office;
Standard level of competency in all elements of Adobe Creative Suite
