Job description

  • Implement the marketing and communications strategy for the Cumming Global Centre for Pandemic Therapeutics to establish global leadership in pandemic pathogen treatments.

About the Role
As the Marketing and Communications Manager for the Cumming Global Centre for Pandemic Therapeutics, this role focuses on implementing a strategic marketing and communications plan to position the Center as a leading international research entity. Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, deliver innovative content across internal and external channels, fostering deep stakeholder engagement and contributing to strategic objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Lead the design and delivery of internal and external communications and content aligned to the marketing and communications strategy.
  • Develop internal and external communications materials, including but not limited to Director communications, media releases, web and intranet content, social media content, collateral etc.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have significant marketing and communications experience, a successful track record in delivering strategic communications in a large organization, strong written and verbal communication skills, proven relationship-building abilities, excellent time management, and a commitment to high ethical standards.
You will also have:
  • Tertiary qualification in communications, journalism, finance, business or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated successful delivery of strategic communications and media activities within a large and complex organisation.
  • Ability to work to a high ethical standard ensuring professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
  • Significant relevant marketing and communications experience.
