We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Marketing Coordinatorto join our Marketing Team.


About the role

Reporting to the Marketing Manager (Consumer), the Marketing Coordinator will assist with the implementation of the club’s marketing activity for a range of products, programs, and experiences.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in membership retention and operations, merchandise and community football, and consumer-led campaigns. They will also be responsible for the coordination and production of promotional collateral and assets, and the management and publishing of assets across owned channels, where required.

Key Accountabilities

  • Contribute to the ideation of marketing and content activities for the St Kilda Football Club
  • Work with the internal design and content team to coordinate the production of engaging assets that honour the Saint’s brand and help drive marketing objectives
  • Support the marketing department in the execution of key marketing activity across owned channels including website, EDM and social media
  • Support the marketing department with technical execution, communications and copywriting across digital platforms
  • Maintain and update digital assets and platforms, such as the membership website, as required
  • Assist with the build and implementation of EDM campaigns
  • Assist in the development of post-campaign analysis for marketing campaigns
  • Continuously look for new and innovative ways to improve products across our consumer, supporter group and community offerings
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Support wider marketing and community engagement team in game day on and off field operations and attend events as required

About you

  • Creative thinker with investigative mindset and customer focus 
  • Thirst for learning and desire to stay ahead of marketing consumer trends
  • Strong understanding of creative assets and appropriate placements for a range of channels including EDM, Social Media, Website and App. 
  • High attention to detail, organised and the ability to multi-task under pressure and work on several campaigns simultaneously 
  • Demonstrated time management skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks and to meet deadlines 
  • Understanding of marketing concepts and strategies with the ability to apply these in marketing recommendations 
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Suite programs and comfortable with documenting work using these programs or similar 
  • Advanced interpersonal and communication skills, including a commitment to open, honest, two-way and frequent communication
     

What you need

  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or similar degree
  • Minimum 1-2-years experience in marketing, digital media or content
  • Experience in implementing digital marketing campaigns
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign & Photoshop)
  • Experience utilising the Meta Ads platform
  • Experience in coordinating promotional assets for owned platforms, including social media, website and EDM
  • CRM and marketing automation experience, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, is highly regarded
  • Flexibility to work across 7-day week
  • Valid Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one
