As a Marketing Coordinator at LJ Hooker Project Marketing, you will be responsible for executing comprehensive marketing strategies across both traditional and digital channels according to set plans.
Reporting to Marketing, you will work closely with the in-house design team to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day marketing efforts. Your role will include implementing individual brand promotions and activations that have been set by the Marketing Manager through paid, earned, and owned channels across traditional and digital media.
This multifaceted role requires a blend of digital proficiency, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills. Project multi-tasking, the ability to problem-solve and strong communication skills are also key requirements of the role. A keen eye for detail, an eagerness to learn and the ability to liaise confidently and professionally with internal and external stakeholders are also expected.
Day-to-day duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Design, develop, implement, and optimise social media content across a suite of brands.
- Utilise online scheduling tools to create monthly social media schedules.
- Deliver and analyse digital brand campaigns across social media, email marketing, and Meta Business Suite.
- Distribute and liaise with digital and traditional publications for paid and earned advertising.
- Implement paid and earned packages, promotions, and activations specific to each brand.
- Liaise with the internal team and external suppliers on brand collateral bookings and executions – brochures, flyers, DLs and letters, newspaper, and magazine advertisements, and ensure all brands’ visual assets are relevant and current.
- Liaise confidently and professionally with key internal and external stakeholders as required to implement set plans.
- Engage in various additional tasks and responsibilities as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving project needs and organisational objectives.
Skills Required
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, and some design skills are highly preferred, demonstrating a strong foundation in the field.
- Proven ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, high-pressure environment, showcasing adaptability and resilience.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and compelling messaging across various channels.
- A genuine passion for marketing, coupled with a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development within the industry.
- Solid understanding and experience in Canva.
- Understanding and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud suite and or Figma software. (not required but experience would be preferred).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace, coupled with a proactive approach to embracing new technologies and a keen aptitude for learning innovative systems.
- Demonstrated capacity to rapidly acquire new skills and effectively manage multiple projects concurrently, showcasing adaptability and resourcefulness.
- Proven track record of effective time management and task prioritisation, ensuring efficient workflow and timely project delivery.
Start date ideally between the 13th May – 20th May.
This role is initially for 12 months with the option of review and extension.
